Washington: After the disappearance and mysterious deaths of 10 scientists in the US, now the mysterious death of another UFO reasearcher has created a stir. In this way, the number of dead or missing scientists in the US is increasing so much that it would be "mere coincidence" to ignore it. 

What is the buzz?

The 2022 death of Amy Eskridge, a Huntsville, Alabama-based researcher, is once gain in headlines, As he name has been added as the 11th case in a growing list of scientists who have died or disappeared under unusual circumstances.

The case has gained further traction after at least 10 other recent incidents involving the US military, nuclear, and space research sectors emerged. 

The US's nuclear program is generally considered the most secure in the world. But recently the safety of scientists is being questioned. In the past three years, five scientists have disappeared and about five have died under suspicious circumstances. 

What did the White House say?

The White House on Friday for the first time publicly addressed about the unexplained deaths and disappearances of at least 10 US scientists 

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that she has not yet consulted intelligence agencies but pledged to seek answers.     

"In light of the recent and legitimate questions about these troubling cases and President Trump’s commitment to the truth, the White House is actively working with all relevant agencies and the FBI to holistically review all of the cases together and identify any potential commonalities that may exist," Leavitt said.

"No stone will be unturned in this effort, and the White House will provide updates when we have them."

What did Donald Trump say?

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he had just concluded a meeting on the issue. He described the situation as very serious and promised that answers would be available in the next few days.

Donald Trump announced on Thursday that his administration will give answers in the next few days about the mysterious deaths and disappearances of experts involved in advanced research. 

Trump told reporters, "I hope it is a coincidence, but we will know in the next week and a half. This is a very serious matter, hopefully it is just a coincidence, or whatever you want to call it."
